Tommy Battles the Silver Sea Dragon is an independent musical fantasy film, written, directed and composed by multi-disciplinary artist LUSHI

SYNOPSIS

Tommy Battles the Silver Sea Dragon Tommy Battles the Silver Sea Dragon is the musical drama of a man's struggle to overcome the guilt of his mother’s death. On a quest for absolution, Tommy finds himself on trial in a courtroom crowded by his inner demons. His confession alternates between flashbacks and fantasies as we journey into Tommy's budding romance with girlfriend Carolyn, whose experience as a woman is overshadowed by the weight of Tommy's maternal loss. Dream and reality blur as the Prosecutor and his agents infiltrate Tommy’s memories, dragging him back to the courtroom of his convoluted psyche. Can Tommy break the cycle of guilt before it destroys him and the one he loves?

Lushi (Writer / Director / Composer)
Lushi studied music composition at the Chicago College of Performing Arts and received an M.A. with honors in film sound studies from the Universiteit van Amsterdam on a full ride scholarship. Among his many varied projects, Lushi has collaborated with the Dutch Royal Ballet, presented audiovisual work at the EYE Film Museum, performed live at MOMA Ps1 Sunday Sessions, and created a feature musical film which will premiere at Cinequest 2018. www.lushi.af

Michael Angelo Zervos (Producer)
Michael Angelo Zervos received a BBA in Management and BS in Film Studies at Grand Valley State, working for high profile Hollywood companies like Anonymous Content and The Cimarron Group after university. Zervos has produced/directed eight films and more than two dozen commercials. He is currently the director of Mind Your Business, a web series on the innovations and challenges of high-profile entrepreneurs across the country.

Henry Zaballos (Director of Photography)
Henry Zaballos is a New York-based cinematographer, originally from Oakland, California. Henry has collaborated with a variety of production companies and directors on feature films, short narratives, and numerous commercial works. A cinematographer with a background in both film and digital technology, he graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts a finalist for the ARRI Volker Bahnemann Award for Cinematography. www.henryzaballos.com

Maki Takenouchi (Production Designer)
Maki is a Production Designer for film and theater. Mentored by Production Designer Mark Friedberg, Maki's credits include Tar (2012) with James Franco and Mila Kunis, Private Romeo (2011), Pinnochio (2011 off-Broadway) and several music video and commercial credits. Maki studied fine arts and sculpture at Yale College. She was born in Tokyo and lives in Brooklyn. makitakenouchidesign.tumblr.com

Amos Mulder (Editor)
Amos Mulder is a freelance filmmaker, media artist and editor based in The Netherlands. He graduated in 2009 from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht with a Master of Arts in European Media. His films have been screened at festivals around Europe, and include Don's Dream (2014), Ceci n’est pas un rêve (2012), Soup! Celia Rowlson-Hall (Choreographer)
"Choreographer of the Moment" (Vogue Magazine), Celia Rowlson-Hall is a New York based choreographer and Bessie Award-winning performer. Her recent choreography work includes the 'Beach House' episode on HBO's GIRLS, Vogue Magazine's "Cover Girl" Dance, and FX's The Americans. Her commercial work includes Lord and Taylor, 3M, Nordstrom, Lee Jeans, Kate Spade and Aritzia, as well as music videos for artists such as MGMT, Chromeo, Sleigh Bells, SebastIAn and Toro Y Moi.
